Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Under the general guidance of the Nurse Leadership, is responsible for supervising, facilitating, coordinating, and team leading, in conjunction with the care teams; the flow of patients within the clinic, the use of supplies, equipment, and nursing/nursing support staff resources to achieve desired patient outcomes and to promote professional development. This role serves to continually mentor and assist in training Nursing Support Staff and is responsible for the appropriate assessment and triage of patients presenting to the clinical setting or over the phone.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Maintains current Arizona or compact state R.N. licensure on file with Sunset. Completes and maintains CPR certification. Individual must be able to perform medical office duties which he/she is capable of by virtue of appropriate training and with the scope and limits of the nursing practice, perform each essential duty listed above satisfactorily and with professionalism and courtesy to others, able to effectively and efficiently organize and carry out workload. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. If not already obtained, Fingerprint Clearance card application must be submitted within 5 business days of employment.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a health and drug screen.
